About our advertising channels

We use our advertising channels, alongside other marketing channels, to grow awareness of the brand and drive conversions. Our campaigns are a blend of uplifting imagery and motivational ad copy that appeals to our target audiences.

What we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced, proactive paid advertising manager to manage FB Ads Manager, Google search ads and PLA and Bing for maternity cover over our busiest seasonal period. Beginning from end of May 2024 for a minimum of 3months on a freelance basis. You must have 5+ years of experience managing ecommerce advertising campaigns.

Key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Managing monthly and yearly budget
  • Campaign creation and execution
  • Campaign optimisation and management
  • Reporting and contributing to monthly marketing meetings

The paid advertising manager will work alongside the rest of the marketing team.

You must be someone who enjoys talking about women's body image and what we can do to help women feel better in their own skin. This is a key element of the campaign creation process from choosing imagery through to writing ad copy.

Key responsibilities of the role

1. Managing monthly & yearly budget

  • Daily management of the monthly budget tracker including updating key performance indicators; CPA, cost, revenue, conversions, ROAS. Ensuring that the campaign performance is meeting targets.
  • Looking for opportunities to reduce CPA.
  • Tracking monthly budget against yearly targets, looking for areas to optimise so that we achieve our yearly targets.
  • Inputs you will be provided with include:
    • 2024 paid advertising budget (already defined). It will be your responsibility to drive the plan for achieving the targets.
    • All reporting tools across FB ads manager, Bing, Google Ads and Google Analytics.

2. Campaign creation and execution

  • Planning monthly content for our peak season, working with the marketing calendar to create effective, high-converting campaigns.
  • Writing enticing advert copy that fits our tone of voice and brand guidelines.
  • Working alongside the Founder of D&B to ensure campaigns are on brand.
  • Creation of assets in Canva
  • Inputs you will have access to include:
    • Archive of successful campaigns & assets
    • Marketing calendar
    • Canva
    • Professional photos & videos
    • User generated content

3. Campaign optimisation and management

  • Daily management across all advertising platforms.
  • Advert A/B testing.
  • Decision making of which adverts/ad sets to pause.
  • Creation of new audiences and testing.

4. Reporting and contributing to monthly marketing meetings

  • Monthly reporting of key performance indicators across all channels
  • Attending and contributing to monthly marketing meetings to shape the marketing strategy for the brand, discuss and review upcoming campaigns and review existing advertising campaigns
