I think because we didn't have much, no gadgets or anything like that, I had to make the most of what little I had and my imagination would run wild. In those days, parents didn't worry so much. It would be totally different now. We lived in a brand new estate, but with marshland behind it and it was so underdeveloped and unknown territory; it was a world to be explored."
